On the face of it ‘being a mortgage broker’ is a fairly simple concept: we do our very best to hook you up with the right mortgage product and the right provider for your needs.

The reason you might need a business like Find My Mortgage is simple: there are so many products and so many providers it’s sometimes hard to make the right choice on your own. Having someone guide you through the process, someone to help you work out what’s important for you and then do the donkey work… and sometimes smooth over the rough bits… is a service worth having.

We do recognise you have a choice; there are a few of us ‘mortgage brokers’ about and you could do it for yourself, too, if you had the time and the inclination.

So why us?  Why Find My Mortgage?

Well, because we want to make a difference. A difference to your life, to the way you think about mortgages and mortgage brokers… or even a difference to the amount of money you have available to spend every month.

Welcome to Find My Mortgage and our website… read on and we’ll start the process of explaining how we can make a difference for you.

Who on Earth are we?

Find My Mortgage was set up by Neil Johnston in 2016.

Highly experienced in the mortgage market and known for his ridiculous shirts (to be honest it’s probably a middle aged thing) we know what delivering top notch customer service takes.

Here’s a bit more about Neil

Neil has worked in Financial Services since 1986 in a number of mortgage based roles before making to the decision to start his first business in 2009 following the credit crunch.

He’s a real expert when it comes to mortgages and finding the right product, deal and lender for his customers.  He would go as far as to say it’s his passion and he gets no greater pleasure in life than hooking up a customer who had lost hope of securing a mortgage with a provider.

At home there’s nothing Neil likes more than cooking up a restaurant quality meal for his wife and three daughters! Or getting out on the road in the summer on his bicycle and making sure the family dog Buddy gets plenty of walkies.
